you think you a badass, but your kinda not". So when she is constantly reminding EVERYONE how badass she is, it just comes of as " ya, girl we hear you. I can tell that the author was aiming for a spoiled girl, who had then "gone through the trenches" and come out the other side as a a badass/murder/kickass/take not shit/ive been through hell type of personality, but her experiences didn't quite measure up. But if you can just go with it and kinda laugh at her then i think you will really enjoy the story. I will note, the leading character Brexley can be tough to swallow. There are plenty of great side supporting characters ( like ash in this one. This is not an insta-love type of romance.

I actually was very happy with this second book, I thought the it got even better than the first.
